Why? caught on tape bursting into the Mayors Jewelers in the Broward Mall Thursday shortly before closing time and stealing Rolex watches.
How? Police say the suspects, one of whom held a gun, entered the jewelry store at 8000 W. Broward Blvd. and smashed jewelry cases with a crowbar as several people ran form the store.The men robbed the store a few minutes after the mall's 9 p.m. closing time but the store was still open, said Detective Robert Rettig, a policeman.
